1. The agreement

The purchase agreement consists of these Terms and Conditions, the product and price information displayed in the online store, the information presented during checkout and any terms separately agreed in writing. Mandatory Norwegian consumer legislation takes precedence if there is a conflict.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in NOK and include applicable Norwegian VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. The total price, including delivery and any additional charges, is shown before you place the order. We are not responsible for obvious typographical or pricing errors that you knew or reasonably should have understood were incorrect.

For deliveries outside Norway, local import VAT, customs duties or handling fees may apply unless checkout states that these costs are included.

3. Orders and confirmation

Your order becomes binding when it is submitted. You will receive an automatic order confirmation by email. Please contact us promptly if any information is incorrect. We may cancel or reject an order in the event of stock errors, obvious pricing errors, technical problems or suspected fraud. Any payment already collected will be refunded without undue delay.

4. Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods available at checkout, which may include payment cards, Vipps, PayPal or other approved providers. Payment information is handled by the relevant certified payment provider; CHEZ LOLA does not store full card details.

5. Dispatch and delivery

In-stock items are normally dispatched from Oslo within 2–3 business days. Production and dispatch times stated on the product page apply to bridal, made-to-order or customised pieces.

  • Orders within Norway qualify for free tracked shipping when the order total is 599 NOK or more.
  • International delivery rates and estimates are shown at checkout.
  • All orders are sent with tracking when the selected service supports it.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Risk for the goods passes to you when the order has been delivered to you or to a person you have designated to receive it.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods. To exercise this right, send a clear notice to hello@chezlolafashion.com before the deadline. The goods must then be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you gave notice.

You may inspect the goods as you would in a physical shop. A deduction may be made for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and function of the goods.

You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping. When the full order is returned under the statutory right of withdrawal, eligible payments, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, are refunded to the original payment method. Additional costs for an upgraded delivery option are not refundable. We may withhold the refund until the goods are received or you provide proof that they have been returned.

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the right of withdrawal where permitted by law. Any such exception will be stated before purchase.

For practical return instructions and refund processing, please read our Returns & Refunds Policy.

7. Delays and non-delivery

If an order is delayed or not delivered, you may exercise the remedies available under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act, including requesting performance, cancelling the purchase where the legal conditions are met, and claiming compensation for a documented loss. Please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

8. Faults and complaints

If an item has a defect, you may make a complaint under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act. Notice must be given within a reasonable time after the defect was or should have been discovered; notice within two months is always considered timely. The statutory complaint period is normally two years, or five years for goods intended to last substantially longer.

Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation. For an accepted complaint, we cover reasonable return costs. Rights relating to defects do not cover normal wear, accidental damage, misuse or failure to follow reasonable care instructions.

9. Uncollected and incorrectly addressed parcels

An uncollected parcel is not automatically treated as use of the right of withdrawal. If an order is returned because it was not collected or because the delivery information supplied was incorrect, we may charge the actual and reasonable shipping and handling costs where permitted by law.

10. Personal information

We process personal information to manage orders, delivery, payment, customer service and legal obligations. Further information about what we collect, why we use it and your rights is available in our Privacy Policy.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, labour disputes, natural events, war, government restrictions or major technical failures. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

12. Disputes and contact

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. If we cannot agree, a consumer may bring the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or the Norwegian Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrukerklageutvalget). Norwegian law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

Contact us through our Contact page or email hello@chezlolafashion.com.

13. Updates

We may update these terms when our services, business practices or legal requirements change. The version published at the time of your order applies to that purchase.
